TPR Donates to Hospice of the Valley
On November 30, 2020 the Foundation made a donation of $5,000 to the Hospice of The Valley, Lund Home, that is a critical care facility near Mercy Gilbert Hospital. They are dedicated to helping those in hospice suffering from COVID 19. Like many non-profits, HOV is suffering because of the inability to hold fundraisers due to the pandemic. The foundation made this gift to help them continue their essential work in the difficult time.
Thanksgiving Meals Delivered by TPR
Because of COVID 19, many Trilogy residents were alone for Thanksgiving this year. Travel restrictions, social distancing, and other related issues meant they could not be with family and friends. Recognizing this, the TPR Foundation began a program to bring a free, hot, Thanksgiving meal to those who were spending Thanksgiving alone. Despite short notice, around 35 meals were delivered on Thanksgiving Day to Trilogy residents. Each meal consisted of turkey breast, mashed potatoes, stuffing, dinner roll, and pumpkin pie.

TPR to Provide Thanksgiving Dinners
Due to various concerns and restrictions caused by the COVID pandemic, the TPR Foundation realizes that some of our friends in the Trilogy community may not be able to gather with friends and family. For those residents who might be spending the holiday by themselves, the Foundation is providing a Thanksgiving meal delivered to their home.
This is our first effort in such an endeavor, so we’re starting small, limiting the offer to 50 residents of Trilogy at Power Ranch and one meal per household.
Group Events Postponed Until 2021
The TPR Foundation has decided to postpone all in-person group events until 2021 due to the uncertainties related to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
This includes the October wine tasting event and the Bill Katz Memorial Golf Fundraiser scheduled for November. More information about their rescheduling will be coming soon.

The Need is Still There
Although the Foundation has curtailed its major fund-raising activities, there is still a need to help seniors in the Southeast Valley. Please consider making a donation, either online or via the mail. Board members are also available to discuss options.
