Because of COVID 19, many Trilogy residents were alone for Thanksgiving this year.  Travel restrictions, social distancing, and other related issues meant they could not be with family and friends.  Recognizing this, the TPR Foundation began a program to bring a free, hot, Thanksgiving meal to those who were spending Thanksgiving alone.  Despite short notice, around 35 meals were delivered on Thanksgiving Day to Trilogy residents.  Each meal consisted of turkey breast, mashed potatoes, stuffing, dinner roll, and pumpkin pie.

Volunteer delivery drivers were overwhelmed by the response.  “God bless you for doing this” and “I couldn’t have cooked a meal for just myself” were some of the responses.  Thanks to our volunteer drivers: Bob Bowers, Miriam Sluder, Stu Strait, Jan and Neal Griggsmiller, and Don and Marcia Vangsnes.  Thanks to Robin and the COA for sending an email push to residents.  Thanks also to Safeway for preparing the meals.
