Wine Tasting Fundraiser a Success!
The Foundation’s annual fall wine tasting fundraiser on November 3rd at Slate’s was a sold-out affair. While the final total has not yet been tallied, the event raised more than $5,000 to go towards our mission of serving seniors in the Southeast Valley. The 60 participants tasted five different wines paired with five separate small courses created by Chef Anton – kudos to him. Thanks also to Andrew and his team for a great job on the event presentation.
A live auction featured a lively bidding competition for a variety of items ranging from golf outings to gourmet dinners to be prepared in Trilogy resident’s homes. In addition, a 50/50 raffle raised $530. (See all auction winners.)
Joyce Petrowski of the Resources/Outreach to Safeguard the Elderly (R.O.S.E.) made a brief presentation about their services and received a $2,000 donation from the TPR Foundation to support their work. The mission of R.O.S.E. is to deliver effective and concise fraud awareness and prevention programs to older adults and their families, including here at Trilogy.
The next wine tasting fundraiser is scheduled for Monday, January 26th at 4:00 PM. This will be a full 4-course meal specifically prepared to highlight the wines selected for each course. The cost will be $125 per person. More information will be coming soon and tickets will go on sale in mid-December.
