TPR Foundation Happenings

TPR Logo

This month, we are adding a new feature to spotlight the volunteers who serve on the TPR Foundation’s Board of Directors. These individuals spend many hours planning and organizing fund raising events and vetting organizations that support senior citizens in the Southeast valley for the purpose of providing funds to assist in their efforts. This spotlight will highlight two or three volunteers each month. You will see as we spotlight these board members on how active they have been in their support of Trilogy activities. Just recently, the Foundation donated $7,200 toward a Smith machine in the Trilogy Fitness Center.

Spotlight on Foundation Board Volunteers

President: Miriam Sluder, a native of North Carolina, served the University of North Carolina in educational logistics support to students and faculty focusing on basic medical sciences for 27 years followed by 3 years as the business manager for the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She and her husband, Rick, moved to Trilogy permanently in 2010. She has been highly active in the Trilogy Niners Golf Club, serving as past president, and is active in numerous other activities in Trilogy. She has served on the TPR Foundation Board since 2021 and as the Foundation President for the past two years. She has been instrumental in upgrading the annual golf fundraiser and the improvements to the Trilogy Garden and the addition of the new Tree of Life sculpture.

Secretary: Linda Anderson has experience as a legal secretary for a firm that handled cases for Lloyd’s of London, as an admitting clerk and secretary for a small hospital in Brooklyn, NY, and worked for 10 years in the Intellectual Properties legal field in New York City. Linda moved to Arizona in 1996 where she became a paralegal working in the Intellectual Properties field until retiring in 2015. She and her husband, Jim, married in 2001 and moved to Trilogy in 2017. She is incredibly involved in Trilogy, serving actively on the Band of Angels and as a TPR Foundation Board member since 2022. She is also active in the Niners golf club, Fun Savors, and Wine and Dine. She is also a social member of the Mahjong and Bocce clubs.
