Update on Foundation Programs and Events

We are in the midst of another hot Arizona summer and things slow down during this time of the year. However, the TPR Foundation Board continues to plan for upcoming events including the annual Bill Katz Memorial golf event. The board continues to vet opportunities to help senior citizens in the southeast valley as well as in Trilogy.

 Bill Katz Memorial Golf Event

The Foundation’s annual golf event has been scheduled for Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the Power Ranch Golf Club. Sign-up for this event will begin on September 15th so be sure and save the date. This is the Foundation’s largest fund-raising event. We hope all the golfers will be able to join us for this event. Information will be posted in the September issue of the San Tan Press and on the Foundation’s website.

Trilogy Clubhouse Coffee Bar

The Foundation is sponsoring the coffee bar in the Trilogy Clubhouse. Their sponsorship started on the first of June and will continue until May 31st. We hope people will stop by and enjoy the refreshments while meeting with old and new friends.

 TPR Foundation Website

Our website (tprfoundation.org) provides up-to-date information about our programs and work. Please take a few minutes to check out the website to learn more about the TPR Foundation. The website provides information about the Foundation’s programs, events, and donations. It also provides information about the board and the board’s directors. Donations to the Foundation’s programs can also be made on the website.

Volunteers

The Foundation is always in need of volunteers to help with various projects. If you have some extra time and are looking for a way to make a difference, consider volunteering to help the Foundation with its various events. If interested, please contact one of the Board members or apply on the website by providing information on your interest in being a volunteer.

Tree of Life

If you happen to be in the pool area, stop by the Tranquility Garden and look at the Tree of Life sculpture. Leaves may be ordered from the Foundation in remembrance of a loved one for $200 per leaf. Orders may be made on the website or by contacting Linda Anderson.

The Foundation’s Mission: To work in partnership with community organizations to improve the health, well-being, and quality of life for senior adults living in the Southeast Valley communities, including Trilogy at Power Ranch.
